The Space
founded in 2025
THE SPACE is a shared artist studio and collective in Rostock, currently inhabited by four artists working across disciplines.
It acts as a point of connection between practices, perspectives, and lived experiences. The project is particularly interested in creating encounters between artists with and without migration backgrounds through art and cultural events, and in opening space for exchange beyond established structures.
Through open formats, the space is gradually becoming accessible to others. Future gatherings and workshops will focus on intercultural connection, shared making, and collective presence.
Within THE SPACE, we work collectively while sharing the space through different functions. There are distinct areas for quiet processes, experimentation, and communal exchange. The space remains fluid and adaptable.

works interdisciplinary between installation, photography and performative spatial concepts. Her focus lies on process, presence and the interplay of body, feelings, space and image.

works through drawing between chaos and balance. Lines, rhythms and fragments become tools to structure inner worlds without taming them.
