Lebanon
Ongoing Work 2024 - Present
This series was created during my visits back home to Baalbek, Lebanon. After long periods of living abroad, returning there means stepping into a different rhythm: one shaped by family, shared spaces, and everyday moments.
The photographs move between portraits of my relatives, fragments of our houses, and quiet scenes of the city that shaped me. They are not attempts to document a place, but to hold the warmth and connection that live within it.
Lebanon today is a country marked by uncertainty and instability. Yet within my family’s presence, there remains a sense of grounding — a place where life slows down, where closeness becomes visible in small gestures.
These images are about that space: the fragile warmth of belonging, carried through people, memory, and the ground we come from.
